Gut Issues and Histamine Intolerance
Many of the foods in this picture are delicious and supposedly 'healthy'. 🤔
But they can cause us histamine intolerant lot gut issues.
Gut issues are a regular problem with histamine intolerance, and have always been the thing I have suffered with. Here are some of the belly issues you may suffer with (not always attractive but 100% worth discussing).
* Diarrhea. Regular or sporadic, or when your histamine bucket gets too full. Often seemingly unexplained. We will talk about what a histamine bucket is in the next chapter.
* General gut issues. These may arise either after eating food or before. It may be gut pain or bowel issues.
* Bloating. Gas and a bloated stomach can be a sign of histamine intolerance. Not always though, as it may indicate something else is going on (this is why histamine intolerance can be so confusing).
* IBS. Irritable bowel syndrome.
* Nausea.
* Chronic constipation. (NB not ordinary but persistent).

In this picture I'd be avoiding the tomatoes, spinach, the cold meats (leftovers - high in histamine), and the kidney beans.
Everything else looks pretty delicious, especially with a good lug of olive oil on top. 👌
