Hands up Who Has Sensitive Skin

We absorb 60% of what we put on our skin into our bloodstream, so slathering sunscreen all over means any potential irritants go straight in. ⁣

That can affect our histamine levels, as well as our long-term vitality. I’m all about natural products to minimize the amount of chemicals and toxins I absorb. ⁣

One of my toughest quests has been to find a good sunscreen.

Unfortunately, many “clean” sunscreens have a rather white, chalky appearance. But here are three of my favourites that don’t cause too much chalkiness.⁣

However, it is possible to pursue the Love Island tan without the wrinkles. After exhaustive testing, I’ve found slightly tinted ones to be most effective in terms of spreadability, sunburn protection and social acceptability with the tinted ones below.⁣

  • All Good SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Sunscreen⁣

  • All Good SPF 50+ Mineral Sunscreen Butter⁣

  • ⁣Babo Botanicals Baby Skin Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50⁣

Babo Botanicals is untinted - but I like all three. They all score great on the EWG Skin Deep ratings (really important!). ⁣
