Managing Histamine Intolerance With a Glucose Monitor

Managing Histamine Intolerance With a Glucose Monitor

Histamine and blood sugar are strongly linked.

A number of my buddies in the health world have tried out glucose monitors in the name of better health and energy, and I wanted to see how it affected my histamine intolerance.

So I’ve been using it a few days along with the excellent Veri app.

The early verdict: this could be an extremely valuable tool for managing histamine intolerance.

There are some things that have surprised me. Sweet potato seems to spike my blood sugar quite high, and dates seem to be like little balls of sugar for me.

But coffee doesn’t spike it at all, and neither did the New Year’s Eve rum. Bonus!

Ps - make sure you apply well. Mine fell off before the 14 days which I think was just my error.
