Natural Sweeteners and Histamine Intolerance

Natural Sweeteners and Histamine Intolerance

I love using natural sweeteners instead of sugar. Lower carb, less of a blood sugar spike, and better all round. Stevia works especially well for me.⁣

BUT...⁣

When you have histamine intolerance, it's possible that some ingredients and some natural sweeteners and products may not agree with you.⁣

This powdered Stevia from NKD works great.⁣

But these additives and ingredients in 'low-carb' sweeteners and desserts are a no-no for me.⁣

Anything in alcohol as a carrier = ❌⁣
Inulin = ❌⁣
Chicory Root Fibre = ❌⁣
Erythritol = ❌⁣

And of course, artificial sweeteners = ❌😷⁣

That's just me. This is my experience.

ps - I was having a very unruly hair day, so I've cunningly cropped it out. Job done...⁣
