What Is the Low Histamine Bucket?
The bucket is a term quite often used in the low-histamine community (yes, there is a low-histamine community!), and it's a very good one. It refers to a bucket that is filled up with your personal histamine levels.
You can eat all of the wrong foods, do all of the wrong things in terms of histamine, and as long as your bucket doesn’t overflow, you’ll be alright. You might not even notice your symptoms until the bucket overflows.
AND when it does, then you know about it! That might be why you're reading this now.
It might be that one bit of cheese or fermented food that tips you over the edge. Who knows what it was
The point is - you want to keep your bucket as empty as possible, so those symptoms don’t overwhelm you.
The posts on this website will help you do that. If you want to take your low histamine journey even further, I’ve written Histamine Intolerance Explained which covers 12 steps to building a healthy low histamine lifestyle. You can order it here.
