Can You Have Leftovers With Histamine Intolerance?

Avoiding leftovers is a key part of the low histamine diet, (bonus: this is respected in many ancient traditions too.)

This is something to be aware of when you go to a buffet at a restaurant or at somebody's house. How long has the food been cooked for?

Try not to cook meals ahead of time; if possible, make a few separate trips during the week to buy fresh produce.⁣

And instead of buying frozen, canned, or processed foods, reach for those that are still closest to their original state, such as fruits, nuts, and freshly cut greens.”⁣

Remember the big histamine intolerance hack - you CAN still have leftovers, as long as you freeze immediately after cooking.

My freezer is packed full of soups, stews, and anything that isn't finished on the day. What about you? Any tips in this area?
