Diets I've Tried Before Going Low Histamine
Over the years I’ve explored lots of different diets trying to figure out my symptoms. Including;
- gluten free
- dairy free
- nut free
- keto
- Paleo
- low oxalate
- low lectin
and more (lots more!)
All of them had certain advantages and benefits. For example, I enjoyed Paleo. Keto was fun but I lost too much weight. And gluten-free was a good one, in fact I’m still gluten-free now.
But it was low histamine that gave me that ‘hands in the air’ feeling.
