Is ‘natural’ always better?

We recently switched to a particularly smelly, but natural, rhubarb floor cleaner in our home. This was actually a reputable plant-based, eco-friendly brand. In fact on their website, it describes their rhubarb floor cleaner like this;

“smells so good, you practically want to eat off the floor.”

Remember, the label 'natural' isn't a free pass. Sometimes, even the most eco-friendly products can still kick up a histamine fuss.

We do use natural products in the home, but still test carefully. And as for that rhubarb floor cleaner, I'll be passing on that 'floor-dining' experience.
