Watch out for These Histamine Liberators

Papaya is my absolute kryptonite! I can look at it and I'll be all histamine'd up for a week! These are known as 'histamine liberators'.

Histamine liberators are thought to include:

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Berries (especially strawberries)

  • Milk and dairy products

  • Citrus fruits

  • Egg whites

  • Papaya

  • Pineapple
